DR. PINAR MARASLI

Hello, I’m Dr Pinar Marasli, Chartered Clinical Psychologist, with over 11 years’ experience working in a range of primary and secondary care mental health services in the NHS (e.g., CAMHS, sexual health, mood, anxiety and personality services). Alongside my private work, I hold a part-time role in an NHS adult service.

I have a particular interest in working with people with longstanding psychological difficulties such as attachment issues and early childhood trauma. I am also highly skilled in working with anxiety and depression; sexual health problems (e.g., low sexual desire, erectile difficulties, vaginismus); and relationship difficulties.

I draw from a number of therapeutic modalities such as third-wave CBT (i.e., Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), as well as integrating psychodynamic and systemic approaches to my work. As such, I value taking an integrative approach to best meet your specific needs.

I realise the impact psychological difficulties can have on people’s well-being and relationships, and so I am passionate about helping people achieve meaningful change and live more authentic and fulfilled lives. I aim to create a safe and compassionate space to understand each of my clients situation and see how best I can help them.
